ISSUE- Unity3D crashes about every 10-20 minutes. It crashes when navigating through the editor scene window and at play. It also crashes at play. It almost never crashes the first time on loading the editor, but each time I play test it, the likelihood increases. I'm almost guaranteed a crash if I navigate the scene screen while the game is paused. The crash when moving around in the scene mode is so frequent that I'm hesitant to do so.
This has been going on for over a month, but appears to be getting worse. It occurs in multiple scenes in the same project, but I don't think it occurs in all the scenes.
SYSTEM- I am using a 2011 mac, with the latest version of Unity (5.5) and Playmaker.
ACTIONS TAKEN- I had some performance concerns a few month back, so I upgraded from 4MB of ram to 8MB. I posted a crash report with Apple and Unity both, but based on the messages I got back, it seems unlikely I will get any help there. I've also checked the forums, but the situations seemed different.
