Unity continually crashing, does anyone know why the activity monitor shows the programme is running at constantly high CPU (attached screenshot)?

Hi, I'm really struggling to solve what's wrong. Over the last week Unity has been continually crashing, and deleting my main scene, as well as the _EditModeScene so I can no longer reopen it from there. (it's happening every few hours now) I'm stripping everything out of the game, as I think I was nearing the maximum memory capacity, and I don't know if people are having problems when this is being reached? I've imported a few models from turbosquid into my game, in .obj format. I think one of the models was causing Unity to crash, but even now I've taken these new models out and am only putting back ones that have been in the game for ages without any problems, Unity is still crashing on me. I'm being quite stupid, but I was wondering if anyone knows for sure if this screenshot on my activity monitor is normal or not? The Unity process with the logo is clearly fine, but I don't remember there being a secondary Unity process without the logo, which is constantly running at high CPU, as well as a kernel task which is also constantly running high, even when the programme is idle.
